Dubai is not only a popular city destination but also a perfect place for a fun beach vacation. Located on the Arabian Gulf, this city is known for its beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear water. You can’t miss out on Dubai beaches when exploring this city.
Below is a summary of must-visit Dubai beaches.
Al Mamzar Public Beach
If you’re not staying at one of the beach hotels along the Jumeriah beach strip, the Al Mamzar Public Beach near the neighboring emirate of Sharjah is one of your best options. It’s a large and beautiful beach and has been awarded the blue flag beach status, making it one of the most desirable Dubai beaches to visit. There are also 2 large swimming pools you can enjoy too.
Black Palace Beach
Black Palace Beach, often called just Palace Beach, is a drive-up area with some of the calmest water in Dubai. As one of the most relaxing Dubai beaches, it sits next to Dubai’s royal fortresses and boasts stunning sunset view views of Palm Jumeirah, a man-made, palm-shaped land in the water housing Atlantis, Aquaventure, beaches, and the Lost World aquarium inside Atlantis.
Jumeriah Beach is a white sand beach located and named after the Jumeirah district of Dubai. It stretches south of the city’s historic district to the junction with The Palm Jumeirah and terminates between the southern end of the Jumeirah Beach Residence and the port facilities at Jebel Ali. As one of the top Dubai beaches, the beach and its frontage feature large hotels, resorts, and housing developments, including the Burj Al Arab, Wild Wadi Water Park, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and the old-style Madinat Jumeirah, a hotel and shopping complex. It’s a great spot to relax and put your feet up after a morning of sightseeing.
Umm Suqeim Park Beach
Umm Suqeim Park Beach, also known as Sunset Beach, has great views of Burj Al Arab and is located off Al Thanya Street, next to Jumeirah Beach Hotel. It’s a top spot for experienced surfers and windsurfers, who are most often spotted in the mornings. As one of the best Dubai beaches, it is even located next to a beautiful green park.
Located across from Al Manara Road Junction, the popular Kite Beach features kite surfers and spectators, making it one of the most fun Dubai beaches. It’s also a favorite among soccer and volleyball players, in addition to kayakers. There are water sport operators available along the sand where you can rent equipment. The afternoons are the best, as that’s when the waves and wind are at their best.
Le Meridien Mina Seyahi
If you aren’t staying in a beach hotel and still want the luxurious beach experience, some of the hotels allow you to pay a fee in order to spend a day at their beach, like Le Meridien Mina Seyahi. It’s one of the top Dubai beaches and is a great option located on Al Sufouh Road.
